An audience is like a cat. If you go straight for them, they will shy away from you. If you ignore them, they will think you are not worth their time. A performer will do well to take a lesson from our feline friends and find the balance. Students of this class will engage in exercises and questions designed to examine the quality of creating curiosity in an audience. Appropriate students include actors, variety performers, dancers, and anyone desiring to find a good beam of sunlight.

As a wise person once said, “Curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back.”
